What’s in it for you? What’s it going to cost? I don’t look good on camera?
Just a few of the questions/objections posed ahead of our annual campaign.
So, why do we do it? For us, business is not purely about profit. We are passionate about the people we work for, the places we do business in, and the environment we inhabit. This is our way of giving back to our community by using our skills and experience to help showcase some of the great local businesses in Sussex.
And yet, despite being slightly later mobilising due to a rush of clients wanting us to launch their properties, by December 12th we had an array of amazing prizes and a waiting list to participate in the Christmas 2024 campaign.
We travelled far and wide: Eridge and Hartfield to the North; East Chiltington and Ringmer in the Centre; and Eastbourne and Heathfield in the East.
Prizes ranged from experiences (with Meerkats and afternoon tea), food and drink (always a favourite), Christmas Trees and Wreaths, a wonderful sheepskin rug, to award-winning eco-friendly hygiene accessories and a signed copy of an acclaimed cookery book by a celebrity chef.
We interviewed 12 inspiring businesses and we had a lot of fun.
The campaign was featured on BBC Radio Sx attracting over 25,000 Facebook and Instagram interactions.

This year’s selection of videos is right up there among our best. Everyone looked great on camera and some of the most reticent proved to be the most voluble. You know who you are!
