We wanted to recognise people who have gone the extra mile for others so we donated a Fortnum & Mason Piccadilly Hamper with our compliments to 3 people or families who others nominated for their good deeds. This is what Ana said about the offer:

“It’s not just about us giving these prizes, its also important that we act as a catalyst so that people know that others around them recognize the amazing sacrifices they have made.”

Members of Eastbourne’s Chamber of Commerce selected the winners of our Christmas promotion. Here’s one of the winning nominations:

I would like to nominate Beth Ali a friend of mine who is having such a tough time her mum has terminal cancer she has become her mums full time carer and helps to look after her 2 younger siblings she has also got 2 children of her own under that age of 5 she’s always willing to help others and never asks for anything in return! She is amazing how she is coping with everything that is happening and to continue to be strong for her sons and her mum and siblings in remarkable and I would love for her to be recognised and to show her that people do care and sometimes she deserves a treat. X I haven’t tagged her, as I wouldn’t want to ruin the surprise. (Nominated by Jessica Bigsby-Fuller)

The hampers were delivered to the nominators who presented them on our behalf.  As Ana noted:

“Everyone who either nominated someone or was the nominee is a winner. Recognising the often hidden contributions of people can provide a boost at a difficult time.”
