Sunday finds!

“The colour we paint our front door not only gives the outside world a clue to the personality of those who live inside, but after a busy day it’s wonderful to be greeted by a colour that says ‘welcome home!” Says Karen Haller Colour & Design

And following on from last week here are five more colours to choose from.

Green suggests nature, harmony, freshness and fertility. A green colour front door is usually found on the home of someone who loves the outdoors. Green is also associated with money, meaning they are good at managing their money.

Purple is associated with royalty. It symbolizes power, nobility, luxury, and ambition. However be careful when picking a shade otherwise it can easily turn from luxurious to garish.

White means light, purity, cleanliness and simplicity.

Black denotes strength and authority; it is considered to be a very formal, elegant, and prestigious colour. There is a reason black is the colour of the iconic 10 Downing Street front door. This colour exudes sophistication while being mysterious!

Grey is associated with neutrality, sincerity and says you are indecisive and prefer to compromise.

Now that you have learned more about colours, which one do you think is the best front door colour?

Happy Sunday!
